My attempt at "scrapbooking."

How do busy mothers of multiple children find the time to drive to the craft store with the kids, choose paper and stickers and markers and books and cutting tools and pens while preventing the kids from grabbing everything off the shelves and getting bored and throwing tantrums, and then drive back home and lay out all the stuff without the kids scattering it all over the house?? That is why I have this blog instead!

Superhero

A couple of nights ago, I was enjoying the peace and quiet after putting all 3 kids to bed. I was sure they were all asleep, as it had been about 40 minutes since the lights had gone out in their rooms, and I hadn't heard a peep. I remembered that I needed something from upstairs, so up the stairs I went, and I noticed the bathroom light on. As I peeked around the corner, I saw Mason sitting on top of the toilet (the lid was down). He was sitting with his legs crossed and his chin resting on his hand. I asked him what in the world he was doing, and he replied slowly, "Oh... nothing. My body just feels weird, that's all..." Of course, my first reaction was fear that he was about to throw up or something, so I asked him if he felt sick. "No, Mommy," he replied as he slowly stood up and started walking out of the bathroom. "I will go back to bed now. I guess my body just feels weird because... I think I'm getting my super powers!"

Here I Go Again!

How time flies... I wonder how many times in the last 6 months I have thought of this blog and said to myself, "I really need to post a story again!" Too many times to count. Oh, well--better to start again now than never. I will try to remember all of the funny material the kids have given me over the last few months. Mason and Harper are as funny as ever, and Georgia is following suit-- she is quickly becoming known as "the comedian" in our house. Here's to more funny, cute, or naughty little kid stories!
